Welcome to Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta. By accessing and using our website (“Site”) and purchasing products from our online store, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. DEFINITIONS

  • “Company”, “we”, “us”,or “our” refers to Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta.
  • “User”, “you”, or “your” refers to any person accessing or using this Site.
  • “Products” refer to the rugs, throws, quilts, and furs available for purchase on this Site.
  • “Services” refer to any features, content, or functions provided through our online store.

2. ORDERING & PAYMENT

  • All prices listed on our Site are in South African Rand (ZAR).
  • Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received.
  • We accept payments via [list accepted payment methods, e.g., PayFast, EFT, Credit/Debit Cards].
  • In the event of pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel an order before processing payment.

3. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • We deliver throughout South Africa. International shipping may be available upon request.
  • Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout but may be subject to delays beyond our control.
  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable.
  • Risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to the customer upon delivery.

4. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • Rugs and homeware cannot be returned after twenty-one (21) calendar days from the date of invoice, unless the product becomes defective within five (5) months from the date of invoice (assuming it has been used for its general intended purpose).
  • In the unlikely event of a product being defective, it may be returned within five (5) months after the date of invoice, or eleven (11) months for furniture items, provided the product has been kept in good condition during the period, has been used for its intended purpose, and cared for according to any instructions that accompanied the goods.
  • For public health reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following items: bed linen and bedding, towels, crockery and cutlery, and cushion inners, unless in sellable condition and in the original packaging.
  • Products can be collected by our courier for return. (Please note, transport costs will apply.)
  • All products received for return/exchange consideration will be inspected before authorization is granted for exchange/refund or credit.
  • No credits (price differences, etc.) will be given after twenty-one (21) days from the date of the original invoice.
  • No quality complaints will be accepted ten (10) days after the date of invoice.
  • Discontinued or sale items cannot be returned.
  • No returns will be accepted without a valid reason provided in writing and approval from a sales manager.
  • Rugs with a width variation of ± 3% cannot be returned for credit.
  • Credits can be granted only once the central distribution centre has received the rug or homeware item and the required documentation, and an inspection has been completed to ensure that the item is in its original condition.
  • No returns will be accepted without a copy of the original invoice.
  • Cancelled and/or returned items are subject to handling fees of R287.50 (per item). If a number of goods are being returned, special transport arrangements will need to be made, and a quotation will be submitted to the customer; these charges must be paid by the customer. However, if the goods are found to be defective, the supplier will refund the customer the collection charge. If stock was requested from the distribution centre to be sent out, the relevant transport costs will be charged if the rug or homeware item is returned. If a non-defective rug or homeware item is returned to the distribution centre, the relevant transport costs will apply.
  • Dye-lot variations occur among all rugs/homeware items and are unavoidable. Subtle textures, slubs, colour and weaving irregularities associated with items (especially those made of natural fibres) are not considered to be defects. The customer must examine the product before accepting delivery thereof.
  • Viscose rugs tend to shed for the first few weeks, as excess fibres not woven into the base come loose. Regular vacuuming is recommended a few times a week until shedding stops. The vacuuming process is very important as it helps to get rid of the loose fibres quicker. This will not compromise the quality of the rug in any way as it is only the excess fibres coming out, not the fibres woven into the design.
  • La Casetta Interiors cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered by a customer as a result of the product having been incorrectly cleaned or handled.
  • No claims will be accepted if rugs or homeware items have been chemically treated after purchase.
  • Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta will not accept any responsibility for rugs or homeware items fading as a result of direct exposure to sunlight. Fading as a result of exposure to sunlight is considered fair wear and tear and in line with the normal end use for which the rug or homeware item is generally intended.
  • Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta will not be held responsible for any consequential loss as a result of a defective or hazardous product.
  • Rugs should be used with an anti-slip underlay or secured to avoid accidents when rugs are placed on slippery surfaces.
  • Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta reserves the right to refuse any return in line with the above-mentioned terms.
  • For goods to be credited, a customer needs to supply Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta with the following documentation and must note the following:
    • Copy of invoice
    • Proof of return (signed copy of delivery note)
    • Written reason for return, signed off by a Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta representative
    • Name of Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta contact person who approved credit
    • The refund will be made in the same tender as the original payment
    • The credit card holder must be present for exchange/return
  • For goods to be credited, the item must be returned in its original packaging, with the shipping label attached (wholesale).

5. PRODUCT WARRANTY & LIABILITY

  • We guarantee the quality of our products and will replace any defective or damaged items.
  • Variations in texture, colour, and pattern are normal due to the handcrafted nature of our products and do not constitute defects.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Supa-interiors Consultants T/A La Casetta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, images, and designs on this Site are the property of La Casetta Interiors and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

7. PRIVACY POLICY & DATA PROTECTION

We respect your privacy and comply with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Any personal data collected (e.g., name, address, contact details) will only be used for order processing, customer service, and marketing (with your consent).

We do not share or sell customer information to third parties.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfill obligations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or government regulations.

9. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in a South African court of competent jurisdiction.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our Site and will take effect immediately.
